National Inspection Services, is a leading provider of heavy and medium-duty truck, trailer, and equipment inspections. We help businesses make informed decisions with detailed inspections and expert analysis. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Recruiter & Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This role is 80% recruiting and 20% administrative/dispatch support, helping us bring in top talent while ensuring smooth daily operations.
We are seeking a proactive and organized Recruiter to work in our office, Monday – Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role will primarily focus on recruiting diesel mechanics, inspection analysts, and sales/marketing professionals, while also handling some administrative and dispatch tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in talent acquisition, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Identify and recruit diesel mechanics (for part-time inspections), inspection analysts, and sales/marketing professionals.
- Utilize Indeed Resume Search, LinkedIn, job boards, and industry networks to source top talent.
- Screen candidates to ensure they meet experience and qualification requirements.
- Clearly communicate job expectations, pay structure, and company policies to potential hires.
- Maintain an organized pipeline of candidates and track hiring progress.
- Assist in onboarding and training new hires to ensure smooth transitions.
- Assist with scheduling and dispatching inspectors for truck and equipment inspections.
- Communicate with clients and employees to confirm inspection details.
- Maintain and update internal databases with hiring and scheduling information.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support daily operations.
- Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing, preferably in the trucking, automotive, or equipment industries.
- Strong understanding of diesel mechanics, truck inspections, or related roles is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and manage both recruitment and administrative responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Indeed Resume Search, LinkedIn, and other sourcing tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with dispatching or scheduling is a plus.
- Must be able to work in-office during scheduled hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
