Job Summary: Bingham & Taylor is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Receiving and Inventory Clerk to support our shipping and warehouse operations in Culpeper, VA. This dual-role position is critical in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility—from the moment shipments arrive to the accurate tracking and staging of inventory for production and delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Working closely with both warehouse and production teams, this role plays a vital part in keeping our operations running smoothly and on schedule. Fluency in English is required for this position, as effective communication is essential for successful job performance.
· Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials; deliver and store items appropriately.
· Conduct daily inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
· Maintain accurate records in inventory and ERP systems.
· Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move materials.
· Keep warehouse and yard areas organized and safe.
· Cross-train and support related shipping duties as needed.
· Experience in receiving, inventory, or warehouse operations preferred.
· Valid PIT license or willingness to obtain one.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic inventory systems.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors when necessary.
Physical Requirements: This position may require frequent bending, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees should be able to perform this duty with or without reasonable accommodations.
