Overview
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and ensuring that all products are properly stored and accounted for. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Receive and process incoming inventory and supplies
- Distribute and kit parts for manufacturing production
- Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy of records
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or tool crib environment
- Basic knowledge of industrial parts, tools, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles do deliver and pickup parts
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate a forklift or other heavy machinery (training provided)
Working Conditions: The Inventory Clerk will primarily work in a warehouse or storage facility. The position may require working in a variety of weather conditions and may involve exposure to dust, fumes, and other airborne particles.
Pay: The pay for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
