POSITION SUMMARY:

Manage the day-to-day production activities of the mine by providing direction and leadership to assigned work group. The Quarry Supervisor serves as a liaison between plant management and the hourly workforce while ensuring that daily / shift goals related to safety, quality and productivity are consistently met. The Quarry Supervisor is also accountable for ensuring that their work team is adequately trained and prepared t perform their tasks in a safe and efficient manner. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the mine plan adheres to the highest health and safety standards for the mining crews and works closely with the mine planning team to ensure compliance with the long-term mine plan.
