JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•

Research and test the design, functionality and maintenance of products, equipment, systems and processes and develop quality standards.

•

Devise sampling procedures and designs and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.

•

Establish programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.

•

Write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.

•

Specialize in areas of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, product reliability, inventory control, metrology, automated testing, software, research and development, and administrative applications.

•

Direct workers engaged in measuring and testing products and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.

•

Collect information to perform the proper defect resolution investigation.

•

Issue reports related to defects.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

•

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5-7 years’ experience.

•

Associate’s degree in engineering with 7+ years’ experience.

•

Master’s degree in engineering with 3+ years’ experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and evaluate product integrity and standards.

•

Previous experience with computer applications and software related to the engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).

•

8D experience.

•

PPAP experience.

DESIRED SKILLS:

•

SAP experience.

•

Six sigma experience.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

•

Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.

•

Team player and detail oriented.

•

Basic leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.

•
