We are seeking a hands-on Quality Inspector to support our operations to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to execute standardized quality control inspections on incoming materials, ensuring products meet regulatory and internal requirements for safety, function, and quality. This individual plays a vital role in preventing defects from entering our manufacturing and distribution processes. When not conducting inspections and our quality processes, the Quality Inspector will support inventory accuracy through cycle counting and ensure efficient material flow by putting away approved product.
o Ensure parts are inspected to meet production goals, including cycle time, quantity, and quality.
o Perform dimensional inspection as per applicable inspection plan. Measure and check dimensions and tolerances using measuring devices, including (but not limited to) calipers, micrometers and gauges.
o Operate sensitive digital equipment including an XRF material scanner and a digital profilometer.
o Perform visual inspection for damage, corrosion, cosmetic issues, etc.
o Complete inspection reports with results as displayed on the equipment.
o Record non-conforming material within the proper logs and alert supervisor as required.
o Shelve inspected parts in designated locations and perform routine cycle counts, utilizing a forklift when necessary.
o Operate hydrostatic testing equipment on an as-needed basis.
o Assist with moving scrap/non-conforming parts to and from the MRB (material review board) area while making the appropriate transactions in an ERP system.
o Maintain a clean and safe workplace. Perform daily 6S activities to ensure organization and cleanliness of work area.
o Perform cycle counts as assigned to support inventory accuracy targets
o Physically move and properly store inspected and released product in designated locations
o Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
o Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean and organized work environment
o Report quality, safety, or process issues immediately to supervision
· Proficient in the use of basic measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, thread gauge, etc.)
· Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings
· Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
· Ability to collect data and interpret results
· Must demonstrate a good attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
· Basic math, computer, and keyboard skills to work within the ERP system
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Must be authorized to work in the US
