Job Overview
Encore Wellhead Systems is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Quality Documentation Specialist to support our Quality Department. This role ensures all supplier and manufacturing documentation meets Encore and API requirements before products move to inspection or shipment. You’ll be the central point for verifying Material Test Reports (MTRs), organizing documentation, and maintaining compliance records.
- Review Material Test Reports (MTRs) to confirm they match Purchase Orders and Item Master requirements.
- Request missing or corrected documentation from suppliers.
- Create and maintain documentation logs using Microsoft Excel.
- Generate Nonconformance Reports for incorrect or incomplete documents.
- Scan, save, and organize electronic documentation for retention.
- Assemble customer data books and prepare job packets for inspection.
- Coordinate calibration of measuring and monitoring equipment.
- Assist with locating archived or saved documents as needed.
- Support the Quality Manager with additional quality-related tasks.- 1+ year of experience in documentation review, ideally in manufacturing, machining, oil & gas, or a quality setting.
- Familiarity with raw materials, metallurgy, or API documentation is a strong plus.
- High accuracy and comfort working with technical documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, maintaining logs).
- Ability to stay organized, follow procedures, and maintain precise recordkeeping.
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with suppliers and internal teams.
This role requires time spent both in the office and on the shop floor. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30–75 lbs. as needed, and work around equipment and moving parts.
