Quality Control Technician

This position covers an important part of our quality control program. Every day samples are taken of the aggregate and asphalt products we produce and must be tested to verify they are in line with provincial specifications and our internal quality standards.

Other duties for the right individual could include property maintenance. The position is a unique opportunity to learn the aggregate business and grow a variety of skills.

The job would be based at our Main Yard at 594728 Hwy 59 South, Woodstock, ON. Hours of work would be approximately 8 to 1 pm through the operation season. Off season hours depend on business demand and employees skills.

Key Requirements:

· The successful applicant will be detail oriented and conscientious about ensuring tests are completed with precision, consistency and efficiency.

· Comfortable working with MS Excel and computers generally

· Ability to thrive in a heavy construction environment

· Comfortable working independently

· Open minded, eager to learn and develop

· Education or experience in materials testing an asset

· Drivers licence and own transportation.
