Quality Control Inspector

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards by performing thorough inspections and audits throughout the manufacturing process. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and the ability to utilize various precision measuring instruments.

Duties

- Reading blueprints and specifications

- Monitoring operations to ensure that they meet production standards

- Visit sub vendors to inspect the following:

- - Materials verification

- - Fabrication inspection of welds, and dimensions

- - Providing stakeholders progress reports

- On site fabrication inspections

- Inspection of incoming purchased and free issued materials and equipment

- Measuring products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers

- Operating electronic inspection equipment and software

- Accepting or rejecting finished items

- Removing all products and materials that fail to meet specifications

- Reporting inspection and testing data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected

Qualifications

- Must be organized to manage QC documentation of projects

- Must be independent

- Experience with quality management systems

- Must be able to read and comprehend shop fabrication drawings

- A desire to achieve the best and ensure top-quality products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
