Wood is recruiting for a Quality Auditor to join its Operations business focusing on Project Delivery. This opportunity is onsite, based in Houston, TX, United States.
The Role
As a Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting internal and external audits in accordance with Wood’s processes and audit schedule. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions. This role also supports management system certification audits and contributes to continuous improvement across the business.

- Support the development and communication of audit schedules based on risk and other factors
- Plan and conduct audits and assurance reviews in line with Wood’s protocols
- Prepare audit findings, recommendations, and reports for agreement with auditees
- Track audit findings using NCR and corrective action systems
- Verify the effectiveness and sustainability of corrective actions
- Analyze audit results and support management reporting
- Provide support during external management system certification audits

- Lead Auditor qualification from a recognized industry body
- 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the oil and gas or related industry- Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001 and Wood auditing protocols
- Proficient in process and data analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in quality or a related discipline
- Experience supporting external management system certification audits
- Familiarity with NCR and corrective action tracking systems
