- Conduct basic visual, performance, and functional evaluations to ensure parts meet requirements.
- Conduct mechanical tests.
- Conduct more advanced dimensional inspections.
- Collect inspection result data, generate corresponding reports, and create/modify master inspection spreadsheets.
- Work directly with customers and vendors to provide, request, and manage various documentation including material certificates, blueprints, non-conformance paperwork, inspection reports, and other types of documentation as needed.
- Manage accelerated corrosion testing on plated parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Analysis of nonconforming material and weekly report
- Assist in Corrective Action and Root Cause problem solving exercises.
- Perform very basic calibration of in-house calipers/micrometers.
- Participate in Process Improvement Teams.
- Train others in job skills consistent with the position
- Experience with mechanical testing and inspection tools.
- Strong understanding of materials, blueprints, and GD&T.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work independently or in a team.
