Quality Assurance Technician - WEEKEND

Roller Die and Forming in Green Cove Springs, FL is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician on our weekend shift.

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are free of defects. The Quality Assurance Technician will be required to inspect incoming materials, test products during production, and monitor the final product before it is shipped. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify potential issues quickly and efficiently.

Shift:

The below schedules are being considered.

Friday-Sunday: 5 am- 5:30 pm

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain quality assurance standards.

- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure product quality.

- Analyze data to identify trends and areas of improvement.

- Document inspection results and provide feedback to production teams.

- Perform root cause analysis to identify sources of defects.

- Develop and implement corrective actions for identified defects.

- Provide technical support to production teams.

- Perform 1st piece and last piece inspections using micrometers, calipers, ect,

- Monitor the floor and fill out check sheets at the line,

- Alert management when a quality issue arises,

- Issue, when necessary, reject tags for: purchased materials, internal parts, & finished goods,

- Perform sorting and rework, when necessary,

- Create control plans

- Perform hourly audits on production process

Position Requirements

1. Experience using basic measuring devices – micrometers, calipers, tape measure, and

check gages,

2. Be able to interpret and fill out quality check sheets on the floor,

3. Be able to interpret part quality based on the quality check sheet,

4. Have basic computer skills in the use of Microsoft Excel & Word,

5. Have basic math skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
