Texas Internal Pipe Coating, LLC is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee all aspects of quality assurance and control within our production facility. This role ensures that every product meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance, while leading a skilled team of QA/QC and laboratory personnel.
· Preside over daily QA/QC department operations, including meetings, attendance, work discipline, and personnel safety.
· Manage inspection and testing processes, including final inspections, to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards.
· Develop and manage QA/QC specifications, procedures, and inspection methods to optimize accuracy and efficiency.
· Supervise and monitor product quality across all production stages; investigate external quality failures and report to upper managment.
· Maintain and calibrate inspection and testing equipment in accordance with ISO and SOP requirements.
· Prepare and organize materials for internal and external audits; track findings and corrective actions.
· Ensure proper documentation and filing of all QA/QC records per ISO standards.
· Prepare and deliver weekly QA/QC meeting reports and quality performance updates.
· Lead and mentor QA/QC, production, and analytical lab technicians to ensure departmental excellence.
· Collaborate with production, sales, and technical teams to resolve quality issues and support customer needs.
· Develop and implement training programs for production operators and new hires on quality standards and procedures.
· Oversee supplier quality performance and assist in evaluating raw materials.
· Assist in developing and managing the annual QA/QC departmental budget.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field (preferred).
· Experience: 1–3 years in a quality management or inspection-related role within a manufacturing environment.
o AMPP CIP 1 (Basic Coating Inspector) – Required
o AMPP CIP 2 ( Certified Coating Inspector) – Preferred
· Strong understanding of ASME, API, and ASTM standards related to coating, design, and material selection.
· Proven leadership and communication skills with a record of team development and process improvement.
· Proficient in analyzing technical data, identifying root causes, and driving corrective actions.
· Knowledge of ISO systems and document control procedures.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
