QC MANAGER

Growing local Engineered Metal Building manufacturing company seeking QC Manager. This individual would be establishing a new department.

Job duties would include but not limited to:

- Develop and Implement Quality Control Processes: Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet required standards and specifications.

- Conduct Audits and Inspections: Regularly perform audits and inspections of production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

- Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues and enhance overall product quality.

- Monitor Quality Performance Data: Analyze quality performance metrics and data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

- Lead and Train Quality Control Teams: Supervise and mentor quality control staff, providing training and guidance to ensure effective quality management practices.

- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure timely completion of quality-related documentation, including Analytical Laboratory Investigation Reports and Quality Assurance Reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Experience: Previous experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in a managerial role.

- Knowledge of Standards: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to quality control.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess quality performance and implement improvements.

- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
