QA/QC Software Tester

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality of our Web Applications, ensuring that our software meets both the customer and our high standards of functionality, security, and user experience. This role involves working closely with our development and project management teams to deliver quality solutions.

Position Details

- Status: Full-Time Permanent

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

- Location: Calgary, AB (NE)

Duties and Responsibilities

- Develop and implement software testing policies and procedures

- Develop and document software testing plans and test cases

- Execute software tests manually

- Document test results

- Work with developers to resolve bugs found

Experience and Qualifications

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with an understanding of software QA methodologies and automated testing tools.

- Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in the software field from a recognized academic institution

- One plus (1+) years training and/or experience in software testing

- Training and/or experience with testing documentation (Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Reports)

- The ability to communicate clearly with various groups within Engineering and Customer Support

- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress
