Purchasing Agent

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes

- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance

- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials and supplies

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information

- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier consolidation

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Purchaser or in a similar procurement role

- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers

Note: Experience in fabricating or buying materials for fabrication is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
