Public Safety Officer/Security

New Contract Site! We’re hiring immediately!

Global Security is currently looking for full-time Public Safety Officers for a high-profile client site in Baltimore, MD. Successful candidates should have previous security experience and be comfortable working in an exterior post, which involves walking and mobile patrols. This role demands a high level of attention to detail and professionalism.

Schedules:

- 7 days a week, Day and Evenings full-time or part-time

- Saturdays and Sundays Mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3 + years armed experience or; - 4 + years of unarmed security office experience plus; - 1 + years of customer service

- Availability to work on weekends and holidays as required.

- For daytime shifts: minumun 6 months of experience in a high-traffic indoor locations like; clinics and hospitals.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

- Ability to undergo and successfully complete an extensive pre-employment screening process.

- Must meet city/state requirements and/or certifications to perform guard duties

- Excellent surveillance and observation skills

- Proven experience as a security officer

- Must be 21 years of age or older

- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills

- Must have a reliable form of transportation

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the safety and security of the premises and personnel

- Patrol assigned areas and monitor surveillance equipment

- Respond to emergencies and incidents, including medical emergencies, fires, and alarms

- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access

- Conduct investigations and write detailed incident reports

- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees

- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
