- 5+ years of experience in public relations within the beauty industry or at an agency serving beauty clients.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Deep knowledge of the beauty landscape, including key publications, digital trends, competitive awareness, and affiliate PR.
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Demonstrated success in securing top-tier PR placements.
- Pre-existing relationships with beauty editors and media contacts are a must.
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Highly collaborative, creative, and culturally tuned-in—you stay ahead of what’s trending in pop culture, beauty, and social media.
- Lead and support the planning and execution of strategic PR campaigns in partnership with the Senior PR Manager.
- Craft and pitch compelling brand stories that align with Avon and LG Beauty's messaging goals.
- Cultivate strong relationships with beauty and lifestyle media, broadcast outlets, and industry tastemakers.
- Identify timely opportunities to insert the brand into trending conversations and media moments.
- Partner with internal teams and external collaborators (experts, brand partners) to amplify PR efforts.
- Monitor, track, and report media coverage, ensuring strong PR wins are shared across social platforms and with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to event planning and media activations that bring the brand to life in unique and press-worthy ways.
