Position Summary

Metalforms, a TransTech Group company, is seeking a

Project/Operations Manager

to lead planning, execution, and delivery of operations-focused projects in the oil and gas sector. This role is critical to ensuring customer value through enhanced environmental quality, production optimization, resource conservation, and downtime reduction.

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Lead projects from kickoff to completion, managing schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers.

- Coordinate across engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure project success.

- Serve as the “voice of the customer” in handover and kickoff meetings; track production progress, approvals, and materials.

- Oversee contract management, shipping, invoicing, accounts receivable, and progress billing.

- Monitor KPIs (cost, schedule, quality, safety) and drive corrective actions when needed.

- Conduct project post-mortem reviews and implement lessons learned.

- Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Competencies

- Experience managing large, complex projects with cross-functional teams.

- Strong knowledge of project management tools and familiarity with CAD/design software (e.g., AutoCAD).

- Demonstrated skills in stakeholder engagement, contract negotiation, and cost forecasting.

- Preferred: background in heat transfer equipment manufacturing.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering (preferred).

- 5+ years of project management experience in oil and gas (upstream, midstream, or downstream).

Working Conditions

- Shop and office environment at Beaumont site.

- Occasional travel to customer sites.
