The Project Manager plays a crucial role in guiding our clients through project execution. Although every project presents unique challenges, effective communication, problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail are consistently vital. - Planning & Scheduling Projects
- Developing Scope of Work & Monitoring Creep
- Identifying and Tracking Change to Projects
- Communicating with all levels of Project Stakeholders
- Assisting the Power BI Reporting effort
- Working with other Utility Operations groups Up and Downstream of the construction team
- Training others to support the tools being used by the project.
- Identifying and documenting key project processes
- Working with leadership to plan future year(s) works.
- Assisting in the overall development of budget estimates
- Reviewing proposals
- Interfacing / Managing with material vendors and service subcontractors.- 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager, utility experience a plus
- Experience and understanding of Electrical Transmission and Substation Projects
- Ability to schedule many projects in a program using Microsoft Project
- Experience planning the execution portion of Transmission Line and Substation Projects including working knowledge of the outage planning process, ROW acquisition/access/clearing/restoration, structure installation and conductor installation.
- Experience with budget development and cost forecasting
- Experience with the RFP, bidding and award process
- Experience working with multiple contractors to coordinate work and train them on reporting requirements
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Tools including but not limited to: Office, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Project
- Experience with the use of ERP systems (Ecosys, Maximo, Clarion a plus)
- Ability to travel 25% of the week.
- Hybrid working environment: Remote with ability to travel to client office and project sites as needed.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds.
- Extended periods of sitting and working on computer screens
- Must be able to travel for extended periods in a vehicle, airplane or other transportation means.
