Utility Transmission Construction Manager Location: Michigan
Flory Line Construction is seeking an experienced Utility Transmission Construction Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of high-voltage transmission projects. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely on time, and within budget, while maintaining our high standards for quality and operational excellence.
- Manage all phases of transmission construction projects, from pre-construction planning to final closeout
- Coordinate with project managers, field leadership, subcontractors, and utility clients to ensure seamless execution
- Oversee safety compliance across all job sites, working closely with the Safety Director
- Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within project teams
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in utility transmission construction, with at least 3 years in a management role (Preferred)
- Strong understanding of high-voltage transmission construction methods, safety protocols, and industry regulations
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
