About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager (Engineering)to support the
Processing Controls Engineering groupwithin a leading natural gas utility organization. This role is responsible for delivering
multiple capital projectstied to
gas facilities and station infrastructureacross transmission and distribution systems.
This is a high-impact role managing
end-to-end project lifecycles, from engineering and permitting through construction and closeout, within a structured
Stage Gate governance model.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Manage 6–8 concurrent capital projects annually
- Oversee projects ranging from $300K to $2.5M
- Lead full lifecycle delivery:
- Year 1: Engineering & permitting
- Year 2: Construction & execution
- Scope, schedule, and budget performance
- Forecasting, accruals, and financial tracking
- Risk identification and mitigation
- Execute within a 7-stage gate project framework
- Lead cross-functional teams (CFTs) including:
- Project Controls
- Scheduling
- Cost Analysts
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Deliver status reporting, documentation, and executive updates
- Support field activities including:
- Kickoffs
- Constructability reviews (~3/month)
- Running project check-ins and CFT calls
- Managing schedules, budgets, and forecasts
- Coordinating with engineering and construction teams
- Preparing for or presenting Stage Gate reviews
- Tracking financials (accruals, estimates, forecasts)
- Aligning stakeholders and resolving project issues
Must-Have Experience

Pay Rate Range
