Summary
The Electrical Project Manager would be responsible for managing current industrial and commercial electrical projects. This individual should be able to maintain and develop professional relationship with clients and general contractors oversee multiple projects and coordinate with site superintendent or project foremen.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Maintains an environment which adheres to safety, inclusiveness, career progression, teamwork, and customer focus.
•Maintains relationships with existing customers, develops relationships with new customers and prospects for new business.
•Takes ownership from the estimator for projects after the handoff meeting.
•Addresses concerns pertaining to likelihood of project success based upon the estimate.
•Reviews job documents, plans and specifications.
•Prepares proposals, change order documents, & correspondence for potential or ongoing projects.
•Coordinates and oversees projects with site superintendent or project foreman based upon the scope of the project from the estimator.
•Monitors project profitability and timelines based upon the scope of the project.
•Gives routine updates including safety, quality, schedule, and adherence to budget to the stakeholders.
•Makea technical decisions for the project adhering to all regulations and the scope of the project.
•Makes adjustments to the schedule based upon input from the customer, the general contractor, vendors, and subcontractors.
•Acts when the scope of the project changes which could impact safety, quality, delivery, or cost.
•Facilitates discussions with customers and suppliers to keep the project in scope.
•Attends job meetings and serves as company representative to general contractor, other contractors, design professionals, & client.
•Gathers material quotes, submittals, shop drawings and other job-related documents for approval.
•Maintains and enforces safety requirements on project sites.
•Applies for required permits.
•Maintains submittal and change order logs.
•Accountable to be proficient in using Vista and Accubid.
•Facilitates the debrief process at the end of the project, communicate the results and archive the data in the appropriate folder.
•Performs all other duties as requested.
•Follows all company policies, procedures, and safety rules. Always conducts self in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner as a representative of company.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. •Ten years of Industrial & Commercial Electrical background & Knowledge.
•Master Electrician with 5 years of project management experience.
•Proficient knowledge of NEC.
•Layout, size, and design electrical systems and controls.
•Excellent verbal and written communication
•Estimating experience & use of estimating software desirable.
•Proficient with basic computer software including MS Office, & Excel
•Experience with contract documents, contract drawings, specifications, addendums, & Change orders.
•Experience with AutoCAD, data cables & IT is preferred.

•Valid driver’s license required to travel to various job sites or ability or provide own transportation for necessary job function.
