What You’ve Accomplished

- Completion of Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, a similar field, or comparable experience in lieu of degree

- At least 12 years of directly related experience; 8 of which including project or contract development/management experience

- Broad nuclear industry knowledge of design, operations, services, fuel, procurement and regulatory requirements

- Demonstrated experience in contract negotiations, development of scope of supply, and terms and conditions

- Extensive experience in cultivating and managing strong relationships with multiple stakeholders

- Experience with major project plan development, implementation and administration

- Strong analytical skills including the ability to develop business case financial and risk evaluation models

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of staff & management.

- Works with sales, legal and associated Business Units to develop legal contract language, plans and schedules within corporate guidelines.

- Communicates with proper channels to ensure contracts are developed within corporate guidelines & objectives.

- Works with project management on contract structure, T&Cs, and execution input during negotiations. Provide legal guidelines within the bounds of Framatome Master Services Agreements

- Supports contract management with contract interpretation/intent discussions during contract execution. Provides leadership and oversight to major opportunity pursuit including proposal development (as needed) to meet overall Business Development objectives; provides direction to less experienced staff, as needed.

- Individual should have prior experience in the nuclear industry; BS + MS in Engineering. Individual should have legal contract management experience; J.D Degree is preferred.

As a Contract Manager in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the PMO Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

- Working with sales, project, and legal managers to develop legal languages to strengthen organization’s risk position.

- Working with risk managers to provide legal languages to mitigate risks.

- Working with project managers on contract structure, T&Cs, and execution input during negotiations.

- Supporting project management teams with contract interpretation/intent discussions during contract execution.

- Participating in the execution and improvement of commercial review processes evaluating overall business risk, past project performance, financial projections and other considerations in support of the existing and future contracted business.

- Fulfilling other related responsibilities as assigned by the head of PMO.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $112,000 - $152,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
