ONEOK is seeking a results-driven Project Estimator to join our high-performance team in Dallas, Texas. This role will report to the Project Controls Director and work side by side with the other project estimators.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

•

Partner with Engineering Leadership, Project Managers, Cost Analyst, Schedulers and others in Engineering to support the needs of creating project estimates along with other project data analysis.

•

Create/improve tools and reports in Excel to aid in creating and communicating estimates.

•

Assist with other Project Control activities as needed (such as KPI and benchmarking tracking and analysis)

•

Produce ad hoc reports and/or analysis as requested.

Education

•

Bachelor’s degree required; major in engineering, actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or a related field preferred.

Work Experience

•

2+ experience in estimating or with projects related to oil and gas.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

•

Knowledge of construction processes, compressors, pipelines, and equipment and terminology preferred.

•

Knowledge of construction estimation processes is a bonus.

•

Ability to: communicate effectively orally and in writing in English

•

Ability to: communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, internal and external customers

•

Ability to: work under time pressure, tight deadlines and interruptions

•

Ability to: follow instructions or standard procedures

•

Ability to: compile and/or examine information and select the best action from defined alternatives
