The Project Engineer will support the progression of the detailed design work for the Mount Nansen Remediation Project. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of a significant mine reclamation initiative that is critically important to federal, territorial, and First Nation governments, as well as other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering and project coordination within the mining, construction, and/or environmental remediation sectors, coupled with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to a project that prioritizes sustainability, collaboration, and community partnership.
The work schedule will include a mix of standard 40-hour office work weeks, with site visits and stakeholder meetings in various locations.
