Project Engineer

RDR is seeking a qualified

to complete our Excavation services division.

- Collaborate with vendors to complete submittals

- Build pay applications, track additional (or deleted) work, and submit documentation to engineering firms in a timely manner

- Assist project managers with multiple projects across the tri-state area as assigned

- Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors and subcontractors

- Compares the actual cost of development projects to estimates

- Collaborates with engineering firms to keep projects on schedule, on spec, and on point

- Analyze equipment, processes, and systems to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs

- Prepares periodic progress and cost reports for leadership

- Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and project specifications

- Collaborate with the operations department to identify and troubleshoot problems

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline required

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with vendors and engineering firms

- CAD experience preferred
