Job Description


Responsibilities

- Experience working collaboratively on projects while managing project timelines, ensuring completion of projects on time.

- Knowledge of the design and constructability documentation and practices.

- Support in the work of designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial, commercial, or domestic purposes.

- Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.

- Assist in the design of electrical systems or portions of electrical systems.

- Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.

- Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.

- Establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.

- Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.

- Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.

- Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.

- Engage with the project team and participate in projects from design to construction.

- Experience with project management and customer relations.

- Work collaboratively in a team to design and execute complex projects under the direction of the team lead.

- Foster key strategic relationships with various partners.

- Ability to integrate and gain technical knowledge to become a reliable source of information to the engineering team.

- Ability to interface with regulatory agencies and manufacturers/distributors.

- Manage project files, drawings, documents & records in our database, maintaining confidentiality.

- Ability to manage multiple complicated tasks and achieve a high level of execution.

- Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Willing to travel as job requirement necessitates.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite


Qualifications


Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education/experience.

- 1-2 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering, or related field. To include experience in proper design and constructability.

- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

- Experience in using or a desire to learn the required software.

- Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.

- Must be self-motivated and flexible to accommodate changes in KE business strategies

- Have entrepreneurial approach to problem solving and be accountable for project decisions and actions.

- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that represents a history of safe & competent driving.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $135,000/year DOE
