Project Engineer

Texas Steel Conversion is an OCTG pipe processor well known for high quality custom Forging, Heat Treating, Machining, Inspection and Inertia Welding. TSC operates a total of five processing facilities, four in Houston and one in Bryan, Texas. As a member of our Project Engineering Team, you will design and support various types of engineering projects at four local plant facilities. Engineering projects include the design and construction of new production lines as well as modifications to existing lines and equipment. Project involvement is hands-on from design phase, supervision of the fabrication and installation by our in-house construction crews and final testing.

Requirements:

¨ BSME or BSMET.

¨ Entry Level to 5 years exp. Manufacturing experience a plus.

¨ AutoCAD required, SolidWorks a plus.

¨ MS Office.

¨ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

¨ Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.

¨ Detail oriented with accuracy as a standard.

¨ Ability to work in a multi-task environment, responding to the need for change.

¨ Display a professional attitude with a strong sense of initiative and urgency.

Our corporate plant is located in southeast Houston, at Hwy 610 and Hwy 288, near NRG Stadium.

Current position will office from East Houston near Hwy 90 & C.E. King Parkway. Relocation assistance to the Houston area is NOT available for this position.

Pay: $68,301.74 - $90,000.00 per year
