Currently, we are executing a wide range of SAGD, refinery, facility, pipeline, and multiple EPC projects. Key Responsibilities:
The scope of the work includes:
•Assisting the Project Manager in the overall planning, scheduling and cost control activities on projects.
•Maintaining routine schedules and cost tracking reports on a regular basis.
•Preparation of Earned Value/ Performance Reports and project cost forecasts
•Liaising with Project Management on matters relating to planning, scheduling and cost analysis
•Monitor schedule and cost deviation for assigned disciplines or specialties and advise senior analysts for their consideration.
•Participate in the creation of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and development of schedules (including resource loading) for those WBS elements.
•Participate in the project change management process related to schedule and cost impact.
•Reviewing vendor/subcontractor invoices and progress claims to ensure alignment with committed budgets and progress.
•Coordinate with procurement and contracts teams to ensure cost commitments and changes are properly reflected in project forecasts.
Key Skills:
•Lead the development of project schedules and identify activities necessary to produce products and services during project execution.
•Apply work breakdown structure requirements and allocate corresponding budget codes and cost elements.
•Manage information integration from engineers, subcontractors, owners, and others to create an integrated master schedule and cost control framework.
•Identify critical paths including critical float path analysis and forecast cost trends based on actual performance.
•Create graphics including Gantt charts, activity network diagrams, time-scaled logic diagrams, histograms and cost curves.
•Establish and manage a performance management system using baseline information in the estimate, cost and schedule.
•Work with project management to set goals, objectives, and success factors and analyze project status.
•Assessing progress measurement and developing/updating progress curves for progress reporting.
•Perform project performance analysis including earned value, cost variance and forecast to complete.

•Preparing schedule updates and general maintenance in Primavera and/or MS Project.
•Ability to interact and proactively resolve project control issues; ability to explain practices to employees and obtain their understanding and commitment.
•Schedule, collect and distribute project related information.
•Analyze, determine discrepancies and resolve project issues.
•Accountable and ensure that project deadlines are met.
What You Will Bring:
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in scheduling and cost control in an EPC project environment.
•The ideal candidate will possess post-secondary engineering, accounting, or a related field, preferably related to the Oil and Gas Industry.
•Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
•Proficient in Primavera (P6), Microsoft Project and cost control systems or ERP tools.
•Results oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, time lines and cost targets.
•Strong oral and written communications skills.
•Construction experience is not a requirement but would be considered as an asset.
•Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Cost Professional (CCP) designation would be an asset.

Salary: $100,000 to $135,000 per year (negotiable based on your experience, qualifications).
