Project Coordinator

At Sun Kissed Energy, we drive renewable energy adoption through innovative solar solutions. As we expand, we seek a Project Coordinator to support the execution of our commercial solar projects.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional skilled in project coordination, resource management, and stakeholder communication to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations and industry standards. While the primary focus is on commercial projects, some residential projects will also be included from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Scheduling:

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to create project schedules and ensure alignment with project goals.

Resource Allocation and Management:

• Collaborate with department heads to allocate resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials.

• Monitor resource utilization and adjust allocations as needed to optimize project efficiency.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, the utility, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams regarding project progress, issues, and resolutions.

• Participate in regular meetings and facilitate communication channels to ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Implement quality control processes to ensure that all installations meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

• Ensure photo inspections and audits are conducted to identify and address any quality or compliance issues promptly

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and other adverse impacts.

• Monitor project risks throughout the life cycle and take corrective actions as necessary to maintain project success.

Financial Management:

• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and revenue projections to ensure projects are delivered within approved financial parameters.

• Work closely with finance and accounting teams to track project costs, invoicing, and billing processes.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and other relevant records.

• Generate regular progress reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, clients, and project sponsors.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in project coordination, construction, renewable energy, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in HubSpot, Monday.com, Microsoft Suite, and other project management tools.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with industry practices and safety considerations related to solar energy projects.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.

• Valid driver’s license.
