Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to act as liaison between shop, field, and detailer to resolve discrepancies and coordinate resolutions.
1. Transfer approved Fab drawings onto Tekla and run kss file to ensure no errors are present at time of submittal, and report any issues to the Detail Manager.
2. Review and verify fab drawing BOM to Tekla reports for accuracy
o upload and distribute drawings to Operations Manager
o update and maintain drawing logs for contract, fabrication and field drawings
4. Assist with the management of all shop and field drawings sent for approval, returned from approval, for the design team’s review
5. Assist with the management of shop drawings for fabrication for construction ensuring design drawing compliance.
6. Act as liaison between shop, field, and detailer to resolve fabrication and erection difficulties
7. Compare load list against E drawings when received for accuracy
8. Acquire and review Bolt List, ABM & Back Up Bar Listing
o Bolt List – ensure bolts match Fab Drawings
o Check field/shop bolts, post install anchors, shims, backing bar/runoff tabs from Tekla reports against the summaries and AB, E, and FB drawing tables. – report any discrepancies to detailer manager
9. Enter where material will be ran (i.e. Beamline, Backsaw, Beamcut, Plasma, or Processor) into Tekla
10. Create Material cut list (nesting) for Beamline/Backsaw
11. Verify/Create a Shop Order for all Back Up Bars and Run off Tabs per Bldg. to be shipped at the same time as bolts
12. Create Shop Order for each release. Upon completion of shop order, issue to Operations Manager for release to Fab shop within 10-days of PM release of drawings
13. Coordinate all shop and field revisions with Project & Production Manager
14. Ensure Production Manager has all necessary documentation required for fabrication including P-sheets, nesting, main member part sheets, etc.
15. Maintain daily communication with Project Manager, Production Manager on progress of all areas of responsibilities
16. Verify with Purchasing Agent all misc. materials, hardware, paint and touch-up paint has been ordered to ensure timely receipt
17. Ensure all misc. materials, hardware, paint and touch-up paint are included on load lists
18. Implement full use of Tekla System
19. Balance Production Log to Tekla (this should be done twice a week)
20. Update Completion Logs at end of day and email

o Main Member Production – Greg, Joanna, Gabe, Project Manager, Shop Leads
