Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will provide expertise in structural steel fabrication and erection, particularly utilizing TEKLA software. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical proficiency in structural engineering, and a proven track record of managing complex construction projects.
This Role Requires
•Meticulous attention to detail
•The ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
Goal: Deliver projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
•Lead project planning, including defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines
•Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
•Develop project schedules and resource allocation plans
Resource Management
•Manage project budgets, costs, and resources
•Procure materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
•Oversee staffing and assign tasks based on skills and expertise
Quality Assurance & Compliance
•Implement quality control measures
•Conduct inspections and audits for compliance
•Address non-conformities and implement corrective actions
Risk Management & Mitigation
•Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
•Monitor progress and resolve issues proactively
•Minimize delays, cost overruns, and other negative impacts
Communication & Stakeholder Management
•Serve as the primary contact for project stakeholders
•Provide regular updates on status, milestones, and challenges
•Facilitate collaboration and resolve conflicts
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
•Minimum 7 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on structural steel fabrication and erection
•Proficiency with TEKLA software
•Strong understanding of construction methods, structural engineering, and industry best practices
•Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
•Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., AISC, OSHA, AWS)

•Travel to the Downingtown, PA office or project sites as needed
