Job Description: Project Coordinator/Scheduler.
Job Summary
The Project Coordinator/Scheduler will be responsible for supporting project management teams by coordinating project activities, maintaining schedules, and ensuring timely completion of construction projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities•Project Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) to ensure alignment with project timelines and milestones.
•Coordination: Act as a liaison between project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues promptly.
•Resource Management: Track and allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and avoid delays. Notify Project Team of conflicts or issues that are going to cause a budget or schedule impact
•Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
•Risk Monitoring: Identify potential scheduling conflicts or risks and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
•Experience: 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, scheduling, or a similar role.
•Technical Skills: Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is preferred.
+ Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
+ Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
+ Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
•Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
•Knowledge: Familiarity with construction processes, terminology, and industry standards.
Working Conditions
•Location: On-site at project locations with occasional office work. Our work is primarily in the Vancouver/Portland Metro areas.
•Hours: Full-time, with potential for overtime during peak project phases.
