The Project Coordinator for Toth and Associates will have a passion for organization and improvement of workflow processes. The qualified candidate for this position will be a member of the Planning Electrical Engineering Department involved in the interconnection of new loads and generation for diverse utility clients in the Pacific Northwest.
Their main duties include maintaining work schedules, organizing and participating in meetings, proactively resolving project roadblocks, and ensuring that deadlines for projects are met. Duties will include coordination with engineers, project managers, and others to organize and align work tasks to successfully complete projects and meet client expectations.
The successful candidate will be confident, detail-oriented with a positive attitude, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. 'Soft skills' including problem solving and both written and spoken communication skills will be integral to the role. Highly desired skills include the ability to facilitate a collaborative and cooperative environment among various team members to build stronger working relationships in which problems are caught and solved efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate and participate in project meetings and identify potential action items.
- Evaluate potential impediments to the successful project completion and develop solutions.
- Plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and new information.
- Collaborate with team members to keep workflow on track.
- Maintain project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
- Support project correspondence by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and Microsoft Teams task postings.
- Communicate with clients to document project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Effectively communicate desired technical products detail, approach, purpose, and other instructions necessary for engineering to achieve a successful project.
- Effectively communicate perceived discrepancies in maps, drawings, exhibits, and tables of these deliverables to resolve data conflicts and issues.
- 2-5 years of project coordinator experience or equivalent.
- Natural ability to lead.
- Proficient in software programs such as Microsoft Office, Teams, and Project
- Familiarity in Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Vizio
