As a Project Coordinator you’ll act as the main point of contact for clients during the design, permitting and procurement stage of the project and ensure that all required documentation is complete and accurate. This includes answering all client questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring that all paperwork and required timelines are met. The Project Coordinator will promptly communicate any issues to the Project Manager.
Our Project Coordinators are self-motivated, results-driven individuals who enjoy making a positive impact and possess excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include, but are not limited to, the following:
● Communicate and follow up with assigned clients during the design, engineering and permitting phases of projects;
● Answer all questions related to project timelines, schedules and permitting process;
● Site assessment report reviews including electrical engineering, structural engineering, and solar designs;
● Guide clients in solar design, electrical and structural change orders ensuring proper approvals and compliance processes are followed;
● Facilitates completion of provincial and federal rebate program applications with clients and responsible for provincial pre-approval accuracy;
● Act as the project lead on assigned projects ensuring all stakeholders have relevant information and project schedule is maintained;
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
● Post-secondary degree/diploma in renewables, energy or related discipline is preferred;
● Proficiency in English is required, bilingualism in French is an asset;
● Comfortable making phone calls and working with clients in person and over the phone;
● Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently as well as collaborate with the team;
● Ability to adapt to changes and pivot as necessary based on business needs;
● Comfortable with technology and software (Google Suite, CRM an asset);
● Previous project coordination experience is an asset; and
