We are seeking an experienced Project Controls professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, scheduling, and cost management for large-scale, complex projects. This role requires strategic thinking, analytical skills, and expertise in project management principles to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
As a Project Controls Level 3 Specialist, you will lead planning and cost control efforts for mega projects, providing critical insights to project managers and stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead the development and management of detailed project schedules (Levels 1–5) using Primavera P6.
- Prepare integrated cost and schedule forecasts, ensuring accuracy and logic ties between scope, resources, and timelines.
- Analyze schedule and cost deviations, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate overruns.
- Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) and support accurate Estimate to Completion (ETC) forecasts.
- Provide reports on critical path analysis, resource loading, cost loading, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather and validate data for project scope, cost, and schedule.
- Maintain configuration control of project data and ensure compliance with processes, procedures, and quality standards.
- Support risk identification, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Attend project review meetings and contribute to decision-making with technical expertise.- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Finance, or related discipline and 6–10+ years in project controls for large or complex projects
- Associate degree with 12+ years in project controls
- High school diploma/GED with 14+ years in project controls.
- Earned Value Management Certification or relevant PMI certifications (PMP, CCP, PBA, SP, CAPM, RMP).
- Background in nuclear, renewable energy, or major construction projects.
- Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6, cost management systems, and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of critical path method (CPM) and risk management principles.
- Proven ability to develop baselines, forecasts, and conduct variance analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
