Project Controls Coordinator IV

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project management and a strong background in construction. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, and proficiency in various construction management software. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution for multiple construction projects.

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.

- Utilize construction management software to track project progress, manage resources, and communicate with stakeholders.

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise during the construction process.

- Prepare detailed project estimates using tools such as HeavyBid and Civil 3D.

- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution.

- Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential project delays or budget overruns.

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

- Mentor junior project managers and provide guidance on best practices in project management.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction processes.

- Proficiency in project management tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant software.

- Strong skills in blueprint reading and construction estimating.

- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
