Position Summary:
The Program Manager of the Critical Incident Stress Management program is responsible for the development, oversight and delivery of programs that support our coworkers who experience a critical incident at work. Results will improve worker health and safety, support employee engagement, and improve productivity.
Responsibilities: Act as lead in CISM program execution, training Peers throughout the territory and developing Lead Peers Responsible for recruitment and vetting of peer volunteers Responsible for training coordination for peer volunteers Vetting of clinicians Continued development and improvement of CISM procedures Collaborate with cross functional teams such as HR, Legal, Workers’ Compensation, Labor, and others. Provide advice to leaders, stakeholders and staff regarding CISM prevention practices, issues, and trends. Apply knowledge, experience, and insight in development, implementation, and management of health and safety strategic plans. Help to create an advocacy environment for our colleagues. Assist in the development and communications of the CISM program. Work and interact with union leadership, regulatory agencies, and industry peers. Ability to analyze and present data. Ability to secure cooperation between cross-functional teams Ability to make and communicate decisions.
Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Prior experience with CISM administration 8 years of progressive experience in peer support or related experience Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead large and complex projects working with cross-functional teams. Ability to influence leaders and coworkers inside and outside of the department. Adept at addressing issues with diplomacy and tact. Creative and critical thinker
