Job Description
Manage and coordinate the activities of staff including training, employee development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and the establishment of goals and performance objectives for assigned department.
- Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
- Manage budget and expenditures.
- Ensure that all departments are aware of their contractual responsibilities and customer expectations are satisfied.
- Interface with managers and responsible salespersons to establish relative project priorities for the organization.
- Provide support to marketing/sales for new proposal preparation in anticipation of new contracts.
- Assure critical tasks are on target and communicate problem areas to management.
- Develop the project management team to effectively manage projects.
- Create Project Management Policies and Procedures.
- Review all projects and create reports to top Management.
- Review major variances from project plans and oversee corrective action.
- Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
