At JW Hicks, we are always looking for talented individuals to join our growing team in Knox, Indiana. Currently we are looking to add Production Workers. We have a passion to produce the best refractory products on the market and are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and heart for "Doing it Right."
Production Worker (Laborer) Job Responsibilities:
•
Operate mixers and add minor ingredients to prepare mixes for casting/pressing
•
Cast, press or finish product
•
Operate ovens and kilns to dry and fire product
•
Maintain raw material and product identification and record data into ERP system
•
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and work in progress
Production Worker Qualifications
•
Good "hands on" skills with reasonable mechanical aptitude
•
Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout shift
•
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
•
High school diploma or equivalent required
•
Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment physical and drug screen prior to employment
