About This Job

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientated Operator to join our team. The Inserter Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the inserter machines to ensure continuous and efficient production workflows. They will set up, operate, and complete basic maintenance of the inserter, ensuring accurate and timely production by monitoring output and performing basic troubleshooting as necessary.

Duties

•

Loads and aligns plates into the inserter as needed, ensuring proper setup and accurate processing.

•

Enters and verifies orders in the work order management system with accuracy to ensure proper processing and fulfillment.

•

Perform order reconciliation, verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity.

•

Retrieve products from diverted areas and reprocesses them through the machine as needed, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.

•

Maintains and organizes raw materials to ensure they are prepared and readily available for production use ensuring efficient operations.

•

Maintain a clean and tidy area in and around the inserter.

•

Ability to effectively react to change and undertake other tasks as assigned.

•

Ensure that products are produced consistently meeting or exceeding established criteria. This includes, following established procedures, quality control checks, and the desire to satisfy customer expectations.

•

Fulfill duties in a safe, responsible manner in keeping with plant safety guidelines, safe work practices, and applicable regulations. Wear required PPE and ensure it is appropriate to job at hand. Keep area tidy/free of hazards and ensure safe disposal of scrap and waste.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience operating machinery in a factory is preferred.

•

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

•

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

•

Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
