Production Welder

REPORTS TO: Department Team Leader, Shift Manager, Plant Manager

SCOPE: Performs the operations necessary in the fabrication of steel tanks, containers, vessels and accessories; to include but not limited to: welding, burning, fitting, grinding, scraping and cleaning

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•

Project, Promote, follow and comply with company policies, procedures and safety rules

•

Must be capable of passing recognized welding test and produce liquid and air tight welds

•

Must have the mental capacity to follow verbal and written directions and instructions

•

Must be capable of lifting, holding, carrying, dragging and placing parts and components used by the manufacture of company products

•

Must be able to stand, bend, squat, twist, stretch and reach repetitively though out the day including overtime working hours

•

Must be able to burn to close tolerances using oxygen-acetylene or hand plasma processes

•

Assume additional responsibilities as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
