We are currently seeking a motivated Production Supervisor to support our daily operations and help drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing process at our Wichita Concrete Pipes Inc. location.

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing specific areas of the production floor, ensuring daily targets are met safely and efficiently. This role works closely with the Plant Manager and leads production teams to maintain compliance with quality control standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

•

Supervise daily operations in assigned production areas

•

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and coordinate with the Safety Manager

•

Maintain rigorous housekeeping standards across the plant and yard

•

Follow quality control procedures to meet ACPA QCast and other certification requirements

•

Assign labor daily based on production needs

•

Review production drawings in advance to verify materials and accuracy

•

Train, coach, and mentor production employees

•

Monitor inventory and order materials following company procurement policies

•

Collaborate with maintenance on preventive maintenance scheduling

•

Assist in improving operational efficiency and reducing labor hours

•

Enforce tool accountability and ensure proper use

•

3–5 years of experience in the precast or concrete production industry

•

Strong understanding of concrete materials, mix designs, and equipment

•

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents

•

Knowledge of industry standards (ASTM, ACPA, NPCA, PCI)

•

Proficient in computer software for production tracking

•

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

•

Detail-oriented and safety-focused

Physical Requirements

•

Ability to lift up to 80 pounds

•

Prolonged standing in a production environment

•

Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen

•

Ability to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as required

•

Occasional travel for supply procurement or site visits

Required PPE

•

Willingness to wear hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe boots

•

Fall protection and other safety equipment as needed
