The Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations of rigs, well sites, and equipment. The Supervisor will ensure crew members maintain productivity standards and work closely with our customers to ensure quality production and services are provided safely.
•Regularly communicate with customers to ensure job satisfaction, included but not limited to, delivery of equipment, service quality, NPT issues, and personnel
•Supervises activities of floorhands, derrickhands, and operators
•Communicates regularly with crew members on the logistics and workflow of rig and job
•Ensures proper staffing needs and training of rig personnel is in compliance for customer and AWS policies and best practices
•Ensures employees are trained and understand AWS standard operating procedures and AWS HSE policies and best practices
•Maintains all employee-related paperwork, including time sheets, driver logs, trip sheets, etc.
•Addresses minor repairs of equipment, NPT, and/or issues on job site
•Develop, recommend and implement job procedures to ensure safety and boost operational efficiencies
•Report, investigate and ensure close-out of all onsite incident investigations
•Responsible for assigned assets and personnel
•Coach, train and develop employees in all aspects of their career progression
•Assist other departments with documentation management of rigs
•Assist with daily inspections, audits and documentation of routine maintenance of equipment
•Furnishes reports on cost and revenues of the jobs and provide cost analysis to manager, as needed
•Other duties as assigned by Manager
•Reside within 70 miles of the Permian Basin, required
•3-5 year’s well services experience, required
•Prior experience as a rig operator, floorhand, and/or derrickhand, preferred
•Familiar with pump and tank operations preferred
•Prior demonstrated experience in managing people, required
•Prior demonstrated experience in coaching and training personnel for job expectations, required
•Valid driver license and ability to continually pass MVR, required
•Possess basic maintenance and mechanical skills to perform rig repairs as needed, required
•Exceptional leadership and communication skills
•Problem solving and organizational skills
•Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Outlook and Excel), preferred
•Knowledge of KPA, preferred
•Ability to communicate, read & write in English
•Ability to clear/pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements.
•Proof of eligibility to work in the United States, as required by law
