Production Supervisor

ME Elecmetal, a global supplier of castings for the mining industry, is recruiting for a Production Supervisor in its Duluth, MN foundry. Candidates must be willing to learn the foundry business, supervise a crew of hourly production employees, maintain production schedules, maximize labor efficiencies, and promote safety & quality. Must be willing to work night or afternoon shifts and some weekends.

Production Supervisor: To coordinate, supervise and consistently remain engaged with all production activities of hourly employees. Position will oversee and direct operations according to production schedules and quality standards; maintain production flow and balance production, quality and cost objectives while maintaining employee morale and safety. Planning and coordinating shipments and responsible for the receipt, storage and distribution of direct/raw materials.

Position Qualifications

Salary dependent on qualifications. Must pass a pre-employment physical, background check and a drug test. Benefit package includes medical & dental insurance, life insurance, pension & 401k and tuition reimbursement.
