PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
•Supervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes and monitors workflow.
•Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
•Trains and mentors employees.
•Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
•Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.
•Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs as needed.
•Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
•Maintains working relationship with union members and representatives by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
•Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
•Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance Policy (applicable section 2.1-2.4) along with other applicable company policies.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
•High school diploma, BS in engineering a plus
•2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
•Prior supervisory experience
•OSHA Safety certification
Physical Demands:
•Ability to lift product and other objects weighing 10lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occassionally
•Endure continuous standing and walking
•Have good peripheral vision, color discrimination, and depth perception.
•Provide assistance to others in moving heavier or bulky objects.
•Endure intermittent climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling.
•Function in workplace environmental conditions including, but not limited to, cold, heat, bright sun, noise, and nuisance dusts.
•Able to work closely with others and individually
