Job Title: Production Operator Department: Production FLSA Status: Hourly (non-exempt) Level: Operator Level 1
The Production Operator is responsible for performing routine manufacturing tasks in a safe and efficient manner. This entry-level role focuses on basic assembly, packaging, and equipment operation, with an emphasis on following standardized procedures and maintaining product quality. - Assemble components according to work instructions.
- Use a variety of bonding materials, hand, and soldering tools to assemble components with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure all components are installed correctly and secured
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality.
- Communicate issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Accurately complete required production documentation and reports
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation to promote efficiency and safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and not afraid to ask questions.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Manual dexterity for handling small parts and precise assembly work.
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs. regularly.
- Teamwork, attention to detail, and punctuality.
- Ability to adapt to changing production demands and work overtime as needed.
- Hourly position
- 40-hour work week
- 8-hour shift, longer hours when needed
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm
