Production Operator

Overview:

The Production Operator will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining oil and gas production equipment, with a strong focus on rod pump and triplex pump systems. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual who can ensure reliable, efficient, and safe production operations.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor production equipment, including rod pumps and triplex pumps.

- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

- Adjust pumping systems to optimize production performance.

- Maintain accurate daily production and equipment records.

- Follow established safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

- Collaborate with field and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues.

- Assist with minor repairs and mechanical adjustments to maintain continuous operations.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience as a Production Operator in the oil and gas industry required.

- Strong mechanical aptitude; prior experience with rod pumps and triplex pumps required.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in field conditions.

- Knowledge of oil and gas safety standards and practices.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus.

- Must be willing to work an 8/6 schedule.
