Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our team in Axis, Alabama.

This role is essential in ensuring efficient operations for our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong heavy industrial and/or mechanical background and experience in various production environments. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating equipment, performing regular maintenance, quality control, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

•

Work with a sense of urgency, responsibility, accountability, and efficiency.

•

Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

•

Utilize cranes and other equipment as needed.

•

Conduct quality inspections of products to meet company standards.

•

Demonstrate a high level of competency in the use of all trade-related power tools.

•

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area at all times.

•

Assist in programming machinery as needed for specific production tasks.

Qualifications

•

Proven heavy industrial experience is highly preferred.

•

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

•

Familiarity with tools used in production processes and a strong mechanical aptitude.

•

Experience operating forklifts is a plus; certification may be required.

•

Knowledge of programming machinery for specific tasks is advantageous.

•

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining focus on individual responsibilities.

•

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
